Midad

Terms of sale and licence

These terms cover buying and using the Midad theme. By completing a purchase you agree to them.

Seller

Midad is sold through Freemius, Inc. as authorised reseller (merchant of record), which issues your invoice and collects the payment and any taxes due. The charge appears on your statement as “FREEMIUS* MIDAD” or “FREEMIUS SOFTWARE”.

Licence

  • The theme’s code is licensed under the GNU GPL v2 or later.
  • Your purchase gives you a licence key that turns on updates and support for the number of sites in your plan (1, 5 or 20) for one year.
  • Local and staging sites on your own computer do not count towards the site limit.
  • You can move your licence from one site to another by deactivating it on the first.
  • Fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License; demo images come from free-to-use (CC0) sources.

Renewal and cancellation

  • The licence is yearly and renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel.
  • You can cancel renewal at any time from your account at users.freemius.com; your licence stays valid until the end of its term.
  • After your licence ends, the theme keeps working on your site; only new updates and support stop.

Refunds

You can ask for a refund within 7 days of purchase if Midad has a technical problem that our support cannot fix. Please write to hi@midad.blog first and describe the problem so we can try to solve it. Refunds do not cover a change of mind after use, or problems caused by third-party plugins, hosting or outside modifications.

Support

  • Support covers installation, licence activation, using the theme’s features and fixing bugs in the theme.
  • It does not cover custom development or design, or problems with third-party plugins or hosting.
  • Support channel: hi@midad.blog, in Arabic or English; we usually reply within two working days.

Limitation of liability

The theme is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable and test it before every release, but we are not liable for indirect losses arising from its use. Please back up your site before installing or updating.

Changes

We may update these terms; the terms in force at the time of your purchase apply to it.
